The Cypernex platform utilizes Hubs, Collections and applications. A Hub, as it is referred to in Azure or a Group in AWS and Google is an ideal container to assemble groups of applications and resources associated with an overall business solution. Within that hub are multiple Collections and inside these are Applications (firmware with matching data pipes and visualization).

A single business solution could have multiple IoT devices performing differing tasks, those same devices may be linked to another collection providing the same information yet that application uses different features for another purpose.
In this way sophisticated IoT ecosystems can evolve performing multiple business solutions, refactoring the sensory data collected for additional use cases, without needing to purchase and maintain additional IoT devices.
The Hub is then the overall business solution, inside which there may be collections such as air conditioning control systems (collection) or foyer presence collection or visitor management collection. Each collection then contains multiple unique or shared IoT devices and / or smart equipment (appliances such as laser printers fitted with accessible sensors).
Hubs and devices can belong to any country, region, customer, building, floor or location providing an accurate reflection of the devices exact whereabouts and ownership.
